- Certified "Made for Kindle" accessory (Kindle Fire HD 7")
- A spring mechanism underneath each key ensures a tactile response with every stroke, helping you to type faster and with less error than on a touchscreen. Plus, function-specific keys let you easily copy and paste text, moderate volume and control music.
- There when you need it, out of your way when you don't. Use the keyboard to send an email then tuck it away while catching up on your Amazon Instant Video Watchlist.
- Magnetized tab closure keeps the cover securely closed and can fold back on itself to stay out of the way when the cover is open.
This Covers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Re-Synch. problem?
Maybe it's me but every time I turn on my Kindle Fire I have to re-synch this keyboard with the Kindle device.
It only takes a couple of minutes but it's a pain and shouldn't be necessary.
Once synched, it works great and I prefer it over the Kindle touch screen keyboard but each time I shut down my Kindle Fire and then start it again, it has forgotten that it has a bluetooth keyboard attached.
This Belkin product comes with NO instructions so I don't even know if I'm doing something wrong.
2. Works Well
Works well, easy to connect and use. Frankly, I prefer my tablets to be tablets, and am not quite ready to use them as alternatives to computers. But this keyboard did make it easier to handle "on the run" emails and posts.

Adds a valuable dimension of usefulness to the Kindle Fire HD 7"
In my opinion, this keyboard case would be a poor everyday case - it holds the Kindle snug but not tight, the keyboard would bump against the screen leaving scratches (I have a protector on the screen, but it would scratch it as well). I use a simple leather cover to protect it from water, everyday bumps, etc. This case is equally susceptible to water and bumps and can be damaged.
But it is great for those times when a regular computer is not an option. This keyboard virtually turns my Kindle Fire HD 7" into a netbook with a touch-sensitive screen and that makes this keyboard a worthwhile purchase. Removing my Kindle from the other case and moving it to this case and syncing it up only takes a couple of minutes, but it is well worth it if you have to do a lot of typing and you hate the on-screen keyboard. The keyboard is relatively small, like a netbook, but it does the job and it has added a valuable dimension to my Kindle Fire HD 7"
