1. Awesome cover that does not block the speakers!
Awesome cover, does not block speakers:
I looked at all the covers that were available for my new Kindle Fire HD, and I could not believe the prices. Some covers cost 1/3 of what a brand new Fire would cost. That just seemed wrong. The Belkin cover was the cheapest one, so it seemed like a good deal, but my big concern was that from the product photo I could not tell if it would block the speakers. So I ordered the cover, it came right away, popped my Kindle Fire HD into it, and blasted my favorite music. The cover is perfect! It doesn't block the speakers, since the device is curved at the edges. Sound is great.
Holds the device securely:
The edge holders are also really sturdy, and hold the device tightly. They are really easy to slip off and get to the device.
Protects the screen:
The inner cover has a nice felt on it that seems like it will be really kind to the glass on the device.

2. Poor Quality / Design
Don't waste your money ... this case is junk. Poor quality, and bad design. There are no holes in the back for the dual speakers on the Fire HD, so it muddles the audio. No magnets to hold the flap down. It will not stand up on it's own. The material it's made from has that cheap, plastic feel to it, slides around if you try to hold it with one hand. It only seems like a good deal at $20 because Amazon's official cases are so outrageously expensive. I'm returning, and trying one of the $7-$15 cases (which Amazon conveniently doesn't list under the "Fire HD Cases" section, you have to search for them).

I wanted to protect my kindle but not spend a ton of money. For the amount i paid i wished it was a little bit sturdier but it holds my kindle with the usual 4 corner, they just seem a little flimsy. It did protect my kindle from a small drop which saved me from a heart attack. And most of all i really wish i had a strap to keep the cover closed because i think I might have to resort to a rubber band
