1. Pleasantly Surprised
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this case. I originally purchased this case because it was the only case that I mildly liked at a big name electronic store, I did this with the thought in mind that I would live with it a couple of months and then probably purchase another case that I like better. For my tastes this type of case is a little plain for me ( I really like the verso covers since they seem to disguise your device a little more, but that's just personal taste). I really didn't expect much but something to hold my KF. I have grown to actually love this case. Things that I didn't know I cared about in a case have now become a must have, I really love the on/off feature when you open or close the case. Love the lack of bulk with this case, it pretty much adds no extra weight and the magnetic closure is a nice feature also. All in all I highly recommend this product to any KFHD owner.

Before I ordered my Kindle Fire HD I did a lot of research. It seemed to be the best on the market. I wanted to protect it, so I also researched a cover. I found some that were less expensive but after reading the reviews decided to go with the Standing Leather Case made for the Kindle Fire HD. At the time I ordered it I thought it was expensive for a cover, BUT I couldn't be happier. It fits perfectly, protects my Kindle, has speaker slots for great sound, and I really like that I can stand it up, hands free. I recommend this product to everyone who is wanting to purchase a Kindle Fire HD.

Really nice with some small flaws
This is definitely the best KFHD case in terms of design - the rubber-lined bottom half of the shell sits perfectly flush with the screen and the case as a whole is very low-profile. The material is nice to the touch, and the smartcover feature is perfect. Now for the flaws:
1) Way too expensive for what it is.
2) The hinge is weak, which makes the standing position a bit unstable and holding it in one hand a bit uncomfortable.
3) The magnet clasp isn't as strong as it could be. I would have preferred an elastic clasp like on the Speck FitFolio cases.
It's a lot better than the other options out there, so I'm willing to overlook the flaws, but I do hope they'll be fixed in the future.
