This Cases give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Beautiful, understated, love the design.
This case is smaller than I perceived it to be in the pictures, meaning that it is not bulky and it fits my beautiful Kindle Fire HD like a glove.
The outside appears to be part leather and fabric, it fits very nicely in a small briefcase with my laptop and a notebook, the inside is black and it feels like suede, it has 4 grooves (laser etched?) to support the device in place and at different angles when using it to watch movies or read in landscape mode.
The Kindle is held in place by corner pieces attached to the case by means of small elastic straps that seem sturdy enough to hold it snuggly; this allows me to charge it inside the case as well as to place the openings for the cable toward the inside of the case as I wish.
There's also an elastic strap that can be used to keep the case closed or for added support when holding the device with one hand.
The pictures do not do the case justice: looks-wise it is exactly what I was looking for, design-wise it's...
2. So happy with this case!
When the kindle fire hd first came out, I searched online every day to see when more covers would be produced. I've read reviews on mainly the Amazon case, Marware and Belkin covers. I really wanted a genuine leather case but I didn't care for the colors for the particular one I wanted. I did not like how the Amazon case stood up and Marware had a big issue (for me) about not being able to charge the device while it was in it's case. From the very few reviews I read from the Belkin covers they seemed to be good. From there, it was mainly the design I needed to make a decision about. This cover looked simple and elegant so I chose it. It is not genuine leather, but still quality material, along with the canvas(?) material with it. The kindle fits snugly inside the cover so I know it's well protected. I took my chances ordering this and am happy I did! The price is also very reasonable for this.

I got my Kindle Fire HD the day it was released as a birthday present, and shortly after receiving it, I purchased this case. When it came in the mail after a speedy delivery I was thrilled. It had exceeded my expectations. I didn't know because it wasn't shown in the picture, but there is a strap that allows you to keep the case closed. I feel safe now putting my kindle in my purse in the case and I know it won't be damaged. The case is also very lightweight and I feel is absolutely perfect for travel. It is awesome being able to stand my kindle up in the case and watch Netflix, read a book, or surf the web. Like I said, it completely exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love it.
